Once upon a time there was a lonely bunny who traveled hill and vale, looking for true friendship. He was walking along one wintery day in a valley in Pennsylvania. A handsome prince crossed his path. The prince inquired as to the bunny's name. To which the bunny replied, "No one has ever loved me and given me a name." A tear trickled down the bunny's soft purple cheek.

Seeing the sadness in the bunny's eyes, the prince was touched. He invited the bunny with on his quest. The bunny agreed. The sweet prince explained that his adventurous travels would take him to the mountains of North Carolina. The journey was an arduous one, with the prince's carriage taking MANY wrong turns.

Finally, the long journey came to an end. The prince found his adoring princess waiting. (Although she hid her tears of worry from him.) He happily introduced the sweet bunny to the princess. This brought a smile to her face. Upon hearing the dear bunny was nameless, the princess vowed to love him and right that wrong. She set about thinking of a suitable name. This made the bunny feel very special.

You see, the prince knew his loving princess was just the sort of girl who would feel this was an important task. The three spent many evenings together, building great friendships, caring for each other and finding love. The princess felt honored to have been chosen for such a momentous undertaking. She quickly set about getting to know the bunny in order to chose a suitable name. There were many suggestions, all of which she declined.

Finally, the end of their time together came. It was decided that the bunny would return home with the princess and keep her company until the day she and the prince would be forever reunited. After the prince went home to his kingdom, the princess chose a name for the dear bunny.

She thusforth christened the bunny Percival S. Violet. ~*~ The S. standing for Squishy. ;^) ~*~ The bunny agreed that this name was wonderful.
